Department is established to form a healthyconscious nutrition modelcreate applications relevant for this model. fields of the department are:
Inpatient nutritiondietetics program: all patients, adultchildren are evaluated according to their illnesses, risk groupsnutrition amendments. depending on daily reports, medicine – nutrition interaction, biochemical diagnosis, patient’s nutrition habitsspecial cases like enteral – parenteral, nutrition treatments are designed. diet specialists are always in contact with the primary physician of the patient,clinical changes are stabilized. for babiespre-school children special kids menus are designed. accordingly, both parentschildren have healthy nutrition. patients, who should have special diet program at home, are consulted,patient’s relativesthe nurse of the patient is trained. with determined intervals patients are followed.
Outpatient nutritiondietetics program: patients who are referred from other physicians,self-referred (vegetarian, fatthin, sportsmen, defects in digestive system, pregnant etc) can get special diet program after the relevant testsphysical analysis. trainingfollowing is done according to psychological motivation. in the treatment of obesity, department has a special program, called permanent slimming program (psp), conducted as a team.
Permanent slimming program: Llaboratory tests, diets, physical programacting therapy are applied to the patient. team of the group consists of physchoteraphist, endocrinolog, dieticiana physical treatmentrehabilitation physician.
the permanent slimming program is based on”active learning” approach, which will support the patient as the patient change her eating habitsher physical activity.
Corporation’s nutritiondietetics program: daily nutritive needs of the inpatientsthe personnel are derived. in the consumption levels like purchasing, storing, cookingpresenting, all necessary techniquesquality services is determined. relative personnel are ednecessary training is given. strict application of hygiene rules is provided.
